Great speakers, gives enough to listen to music easily or sat nav instructions. Could do with a larger strap for attaching. (Posted on 5/6/12)

I used the speakers recently on a 5 day road trip down the east coast of Tasmania. i had no problem with this product and it performed exactly how I expected. .Note that the speakers will also play any phone alerts while riding like alarms and incoming phone calls so that was also handy because you cant always hear that when the phone is in the pocket or saddlebag.
The connection to the stem is quick and simple and never faultered once over the terrain. The good:
- Robust and aesthetic design
- Quick and easy mount to stem. Easy to take it with you when stopping somewhere.
- Music loudness was good but can distort when volume is up high.

However I would consider the following developments for further consideration:
- I used it with iPhone Bike mount. Therefore I wonder if a more compact speaker product could be developed without the zipper and carry pod for the phone. i never actually used the case to store the phone.
- The zipper can be a bit stiff and difficult at times.
- I had to stop to switch the speakers on and off. It would be good if there was an external switch to for this as there is many an occasion where you don't want music playing and the ipod/iphone can be difficult whilst riding. I usually just pulled the plug slightly from the phone to stop the music and pushed it in again when I wanted music. However I had the iphone bike mount so this would not be possible if it was in the CycleTunes Case.
- have the lead come out at the side or near the side to reduce exposed length to external iphone mount. Saves also reaching under to grab it.
- Can't hear music well when riding into a headwind but that can't be helped.

Ordered this product from Australia amongst other items from Biologic and was impressed with their packaging although their delivery can be faster if they could bypass going through China but it was perfectly acceptable. (Posted on 5/3/12)

Speakers amplify fine under normal conditions, but not quite loud enough in high winds - so you're not going to hear much other the wind anyway - not a big deal.
Easy attachment and solid mount.
Highly recommend if you want to splurge a little.
Safety-wise, I think they are safer than earbuds, as you can hear traffic all around with the CycleTunes. (Posted on 3/10/12)

These speakers are awesome! They're clear & loud! We actually used them today on a bike ride. I got these for my son to use while on bike rides because I didn't want him to use headphones while on his bike. He loved them!!! Great product!! I want some for me now, lol! (Posted on 8/14/11)

I love the product, but i don't use it with the optional mount, so my iPhone is inside the speaker case for the entire duration of the ride. Unfortunately, that does not allow me to change songs, or volume, or any other common functions i can do with any headphones with an inline remote. Please update your product with some sort of inline function to control your phone...maybe even with a microphone so i can receive calls while I'm riding!

Right now what i did was buy a generic inline remote to connect my iPhone and cycle tunes. I would love if i didn't have to rig up something myself, and that it came as aa complete package....I just don't see it as complete as is.

The other stuff that matters, protection is solid, and that thing stays on my headstock like a champ. The zipper is well made and water resistant. The speakers are nice and powerful, although i find myself having to recharge the batteries every 2-3 nights or else they get REALLY quiet on my next ride.

I ordered the product from Turkey (between East Europe and West Asia), and I am happy with the quick response of the supplier, and the delivery duration (which was five days).

It is a decent product that is capable of giving you the joy of music while riding.
Design of the product provides practicality in attaching / detaching.
Overal material quality is o.k.

Amplifier inside could be stronger. It is impossible to hear speakers in slightly noisy environments.
I presume sealing requirements have prevented usage of an exterior on/off button, but, in my opinion, that control should have kept definitely outside.
I would also prefer a slimmer case for the ease of transport after detachment. (Posted on 7/21/11)
